Tractor Operator Training

MECHANIZATION TRAINING

Mechanization in modern-day agriculture has become a necessity. This is to make sure that we get more output and reduce labor costs. this course is designed to provide learners with the appropriate information on the hazards & dangers of working with & operating
tractors & their components.

This program is intended to support and increase both genders’ participation in the tractor machinery operation:-

  • To promote farm mechanization for the cultivation of different crops.
  • To provide a pool of trained and skilled personnel for the selection, operation,
    repair & maintenance of tractors and agricultural machinery
  • To promote farm mechanization for the cultivation of different crops.
  • Transfer of technology to the farmer’s field.
  • To provide a pool of trained and skilled personnel for the selection, operation,
    repair & maintenance of tractors and agricultural machinery.

This training focuses on the operationalization of different tractor implements
machines and their use for example seeders, mowers, harvesters, and harrows, and how they can be harnessed to better farm production by either hiring or purchasing
them.

The training is a classroom-based power-point presentation at 20% and a practical component on tractor operations of 80% to ensure trainees adapt to mechanization
bearing in mind safety practices.

We ensure the participants understood the legal requirements associated with
occupational safety and health administration (osha) and occupational health and
safety assessment series (ohsas).

Forklift Operator Training

  • The main objective of the forklift operator training is to give operators additional knowledge and skills for safe operator  procedures, rules, and practices to prevent forklift accidents.

This program is intended to support and increase both genders’  participation in forklift machinery operation by teaching the topics highlighted below:-

  • To promote farm mechanization for the cultivation of different crops.
  • Understand engine or motor operation, and steering and maneuvering, including forklift
  • Adaptation, operation, use, and limitations.
  • Understand vehicle refueling and recharging of batteries.
  • Understand visibility concerns (including restrictions due to loading).
  • Identify vehicle capacity, explain how to maintain vehicle stability, and describe vehicle limitations.
  • Demonstrate proficient operator skills on a forklift

We ensure the participants understand the legal requirements associated with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS).
