Ascent works with visionary organizations to enable people in communities to thrive in an environment where they drive transformative change and achieve their full potential by living our vision

Equipping people, transforming the world.
We have trained over Two hundred (200) university students in various leadership workshops on the kefactors of harnessing and developing leadership and noted an improvement in their leadership acumen through continuous follow-up.

During the COVID Pandemic in 2020 and 2021, we supported over four hundred households (400) in Nairobi, Kajiado and Kiambu Counties through distribution of dry food and sanitary hygiene products. Most families in the low income group were very affected due to the reduction in operations and even shut downs of several businesses caused by the lock-down and mobility restrictions during the pandemic.

Our passion to support women, men and youth in entrepreneurship has resulted in training micro and small business owners with the aim to improve their business skills and ultimately increasing their knowledge in managing and growing business. Over 300 people have benefited from our community support training and 15% have received financing from Ascent to improve and grow their businesses.

All our activities create an environment where young people can gain skills to be both employable and self-employed and at the same time upskilling enterprises so that the can succeed and grow.

We also participate in preserving our environment through forest rehabilitations as we work closely with communities and schools in setting up tree nurseries. Our tree planting activities include both exotic and fruit trees species. We have planted over 1,000 trees with communities through our environmental activities.
